Scarlett Schneider, MD

Assistant Professor of Medicine

Dr. Schneider participates in several aspects of the curriculum, including small group learning, large groups, clinical skills, and simulation. Dr. Schneider grew up in East Tennessee. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Miami and continued her medical education at “The U.” She completed residency in internal medicine at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville and then pursued a primary care sports medicine fellowship at the University of Louisville. Prior to joining the faculty at the AU/UGA Medical Partnership, Dr. Schneider served as Clinical Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University Student Health Center and then in a similar role at the University of Georgia Health Center. Dr. Schneider also holds a Master’s in public health from the University of Georgia and teaches part-time in the college. She enjoys watching sports, golfing, traveling, and hanging out with her cats.
