Applicants for Fall 2026 Matriculation
February 2026
- Submit your FAFSA at https://studentaid.gov/ to UGA using the school code 001598. FAFSA is required for scholarship screening.
March 2026
- March 15: Deadline to submit FAFSA to UGA for admissions scholarship consideration
February – April 2026
- Applicants screened for UGA School of Medicine admissions scholarships. No other additional applications beyond the admissions process are required.
April 2026
- Accepted applicants receive estimated financial aid award offers
June 2026
- Students receive official financial aid award offers
- Students should log into their Athena Portal and accept or decline their Graduate Unsubsidized Loan offer
July 2026
- Students should apply for any alternative/private student loans no later than July 15 in order to be applied to Fall 2026 UGA bill
- Students will receive their UGA bill for Fall 2026
