The Admissions Committee conducts the final review of each interviewed applicant. Committee members will consider each applicant individually and holistically. The committee reviews the entire file, considering experiences, personal attributes, and academic metrics guided by the AAMC’s principles of holistic review. At the committee meeting, the files of the interviewed applicants will be presented using the applicant presentation form. Each applicant is reviewed individually by the entire committee. After the conversation about the applicant has concluded, each Admissions Committee member who is present will vote to approve or not approve a candidate for admission based on the overall strength of the candidate.
Decisions from the Admissions Committee will be communicated by email a few weeks after the candidate has interviewed.
